BIKE

In a short scratch performance at the Buzzcut Festival 2012, we attempted to explore the various possibilities of interrogating a global issue through personal narratives to create theatre that might provoke change.

We were trying to figure out how to address environmental issues through theatre. We want to work towards solutions that might make theatre that is more environmentally sustainable. How can we tell stories about climate change in art with minimum impact on the environment? What stories should we tell? Whose stories are important?

We developed BIKE further into our offering for the National Theatre of Scotland’s Five Minute Theatre. We hope to carry on building this concept to use in one of our next performances.
